Tightness tests
Whenever possible, a tightness test must be carried out and it will be essential in the case of heavy roofs, finished with tile, stoneware, engraving, concrete, etc.
There are two types of test, the first by flood, where the roof will be completely filled with water, until all corners and perimeters are reached. It will stay that way for 24 hours and then the result will be inspected. The second is by Sprinkling or Continuous Irrigation for 48 hours and will be carried out whenever the first is not viable.
The test will always be carried out on the waterproofing material and never on the finish.
